A Little Shop of Treasures...

The Temple Store is located on the main temple grounds and is open by request. If you come to visit please find one of the staff and we are happy to assist you.

The Temple Store started with our need for quality Tibetan incense and books for Nechung Rinpoche´s courses. We have expanded the store′s offerings to include jewelry, singing bowls, t–shirts, textiles and much more. Your purchase and sharing of these items is a wonderful way to support the temple as well as to treat yourself or someone you love.

Textiles & Clothing

Temple Logo T

Brighten your day with the radiant colors of prayer flags flying in the breeze and the exquisite detail of our Gujarat tapestries. White katas, or prayer scarves, are perfect for offering to lamas and presenting on special occasions.

Our popular t-shirts are available in both the classic round logo and the square one with distinct peacocks in the foreground.

Vintage kimonos from Japan make great decorations, gifts or that special something to wear to an event. Sarongs from Indonesia in silk, cotton or rayon can brighten any outfit.

Books & Posters

The Temple Store has a good selection of books on all four lineages of Tibetan Buddhism for beginners and advanced students, including current titles by H.H. the Dalai Lama.

Journals, writing paper and stationary are available in natural fibers.

We carry the limited edition poster of His Holiness the Dalai Lama at Kilauea volcano created in 1994 to commemorate his visit in 1980. Other images include sacred art images of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas by Tibetan, Ladakhi and Nepalese artists.

Scents and Sounds

Choose from an excellent selection of incense from Tibet, India, Nepal & Japan. Some of the more popular varieties are Mandala Tara Healing, Kalacharkra, Sandalwood and Nag Champa. Also available is rope incense, a twist on sandalwood incense from Nepal.

Our wind chimes provide melodious, mellow sounds. For additional relaxation, try one of our CDs with music selected for yoga with flutes and chanting.

We have a good selection of superior quality, antique singing bowls from India and Nepal.

Make your own music with a hand–carved Tibetan lute from Dharamasala.

Other Treasures

Our jewelry collection includes sterling silver and semi-precious stone necklaces, pendants and rings. Malas are available in fragrant sandalwood, red sandal, bodhi seed and semi-precious stone prayer beads.
